An expedition led by Collier Stanton, to do a feasibility study on Mars for mining the pure silicon on the planet. It was the first major scientific group to explore the alien ruins. To obtain the Oracle Stone, Stanton ordered the execution of colonists of Valles Marinaris in 2016 (228 souls, 62 of them kids), which later reported to have found destroyed. However evidence showed that the Expedition themselves were responsible.
