David Wright is a friend of Thomas Malloy who 2043 he invited Malloy to his cabin in Oregan which is later found by Tex to have been ransacked by the NSA.Inside a secret hidden room his body is found under a floorboard in an advanced stage of decomposition with many bullet holes in his chest.
Tex discovers the decomposed body of David Wright in a secret room
Judging from his injuries and link to Malloy it is possible that the NSA and indeed Jackson Cross was responsible for his death.
